Business Bay

When His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashed al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Ruler of Dubai took leadership in Dubai, he envisioned turning the region into a global commercial leader. To that end, he envisioned an area within the city similar to Manhattan, where businesses, residential properties and entertainment venues all sat side by side in a virtual city within a city. That vision has come to life in the form of Business Bay.

Business Bay is located on an extension of Dubai Creek. The 64 million square foot development stretches from Ras al Khor to Sheikh Zayed Road, and within those boundaries developers have placed gardens, residential towers, commercial real estate, canals walkways and paved roads. All types of homes and commercial property are found here, and those who wish to make a property investment in Dubai property will find this to be an excellent location to choose.

The primary reason Business Bay was created was to create a business development that would help establish Dubai as a global economic leader, but the complex also meets another need. As the city has grown, the need for luxury Dubai real estate to meet the needs of the professionals who live and work within it has also grown. Business Bay attempts to meet this internal growth need by including a wide range of residential properties. This gives those who are moving to Dubai many options to consider when purchasing their homes. This has allowed Dubai to continue to attract new homebuyers as its commercial status continues to grow.

Within Business Bay, commercial and residential buyers will find three areas. The first, which is the entrance to the community, is Vision Tower, a cutting-edge office complex that rises 51-stories and showcases a stunning, internally lit glass façade. While there are no residential properties here, it creates a beautiful entrance to the community.

The second area of the community is Bay Square. This is where many residential Dubai properties are found. Bay Square homes are typically compact luxury apartments, catering to small families and business professionals, quite like the flats and apartments in Manhattan. In Bay Square, buyers will find flats, studio apartments and one-bedroom apartments. While these Dubai homes are small, they are filled with luxury.

The final area, Executive Towers at Business Bay, also has residential properties. Ten of the Dubai towers here are residential towers, and there is also a luxury hotel and shopping mall located in Executive Towers. These properties are more spacious than those in Bay Square, rivaling the villas and townhouses in other Dubai developments. In Executive Towers, residents will find all sorts of amenities, including daycare facilities, health clinics gymnasiums, restaurants, playgrounds, swimming pools, schools and shopping centers. Between each tower the developer has put landscaped gardens to add to the beauty of the development.

As those who buy and sell real estate in Dubai know, properties that are near commercial developments and, therefore, employment opportunities move quickly. If you are interested in living in Business Bay, learn of the properties currently for sale there from your real estate agent, and start making the necessary plans for your purchase so you will be in a buying position when the best property becomes available.
